Because I do visual art, I frequently hear the lament “Oh, dear… I can’t even draw a straight line”. When that happens, I usually latch on to redefine the premise, and take the opportunity to acknowledge the “art of living” being created in the welcome of her conversation and the graciousness/joy of sharing space with her. That’s how I feel when I read your blog.
